Sundays at St. Ambrose ~ Boulder, Colorado

Worship on Sundays at Saint Ambrose begins at 8:00a and 10:30a.  Both gatherings are the celebration of the Holy Eucharist with coffee and fellowship time following. Childcare for children under five years of age is available from 9:30 am until 12pm noon in the nursery.  Children are also welcome to participate in worship with their family.

At the 8:00a gathering we use Rite II, characterized by contemporary language, (found on page 355 of the Book of Common Prayer). During Lent, this gathering uses Rite I, (found on page 319) with traditional language. Music for this gathering is found in the Hymnal 1982.

At the 10:30a gathering we use Rite II, characterized by contemporary language.  Music for this gathering comes from many sources (contemporary music, world music, spirituals, etc.) and is projected on the wall above our music team.  Healing prayer is offered on the right side of the church for any one seeking prayer after receiving communion.

Children at the 10:30a worship service may attend the entire gathering with their parents, or can stay in the nursery or join faith formation classes (Sunday school).  Children (pre-K-8th) begin worship with their family and then are dismissed to classes, returning for the Eucharist.  There are activity bags and books in the Faith Formation wing for young children to use. Young people (grades 6-12) are encouraged to attend the entire worship gathering. For more information on our Faith Formation program please see our Connect pages.
