Faith Formation

Faith formation is a life-long process, and we at St. Ambrose are growing in faith together.  We offer a variety of spiritual practices on Sunday and throughout the week for people of all ages to come and question, struggle, laugh and grow together.  
On Sundays from 9:15-10:15a we offer Adult classes and forums on issues pertaining to our faith today.  Child care is available in the nursery.  At the beginning of the 10:30a worship gathering, the children and youth are dismissed to their faith formation classes.  During this time, they will participate in activities pertaining to Bible lessons appropriate for their age group.  They end by joining their parents/guardians in church for Holy Communion.

Seasonal Activities
The children and youth are involved in outreach projects throughout the year that are age appropriate and are coordinated with our month outreach project.  The High School youth group also spends time each summer on a mission trip.  Throughout the year we have special events to help celebrate our lives together.  We recognize holy days with large events such as our annual Christmas Pageant and the Easter egg hunt. Each summer we host Vacation Bible School as well as other summer fun events. We also recognize the many milestones of our lives with special events and blessings.
